If there is coolant in the engine oil of your Detroit Diesel, it could indicate a damaged cylinder head gasket or a leaking oil/water heat exchanger, in both cases, it is best to have an authorized dealer replace the head gasket or the heat exchanger. It may also indicate an internal coolant leak, in this case you should bring the vehicle to an authorized dealer for service.
