S162 B-channel settings for outgoing calls
The contents of register S162 are stored in the nonvolatile memory with the
commands AT&W or AT*W. The individual bits have the following signifi
-
cance.
S163/S164 Service indicator/additional service
indicator
Registers S163 and S164 contain the Service Indicator and the Additional
Service Indicator of the last connection or the last incoming call if the con
-
nection attempt failed. These registers can be read only. The coding is
effected as 1TR6 code.
Bit Dec. Description
0..1 0 0 B channel is random
1 1 B1 channel has priority, can be changed to B2 by
exchange if B1 is busy.
2 2 B2 channel has priority, can be changed to B1 by
exchange if B2 is busy.
S163 S164 Description
007 169 Bit rate adjustment to 56,000 bps (automatic switching to 56,000 bps
at V.120/X.75/HDLC)
