3Initial use
This chapter covers everything you need to know
to set up and use your WiFi 6 Repeater 3000. We
describe how to connect the device and briefly de-
scribe the devolo software. Additional detailed in-
formation is available at www.devolo.global

3.1 Package contents
Please ensure that the delivery is complete before
beginning the installation of your WiFi 6
Repeater 3000:

b Hard copy of installation guide
b "Safety and Service" printed flyer
b Simplified CE declaration
devolo reserves the right to change the pack-age

3.2 System requirements
The following system requirements are relevant if
you are configuring/managing the WiFi 6
Repeater 3000 using a computer/laptop.
b Supported operating systems of the
devolo Cockpit:
a Win 7 (32-bit/64-bit) or later
a Ubuntu 14.04 (32-bit/64-bit) or later
a Mac OS X 10.9 or later
b Network connection
Please note that your computer or laptop
must have a network card or network
adapter with a network interface.
3.3 Installing WiFi 6
Repeater 3000
In the following sections, we describe how to con-
nect the WiFi 6 Repeater 3000 and integrate it
into your Wi-Fi network.

by ambient conditions
Only use device indoors in dry conditions
For the permitted voltage range for operat-
ing the device and the power consumption,
