What to do if my DeWalt Air Compressor is not supplying enough air?
    • C
      Calvin DavidsonJul 27, 2025
If your DeWalt Air Compressor isn't supplying enough air, here's what you can check: * Ensure the compressor is large enough for the accessory. If the accessory's air requirements exceed the compressor's CFM or pressure, you'll need a larger compressor. * Inspect the air hose for holes and replace it if necessary. * Tighten any loose fittings to eliminate air leaks. * If the regulator is damaged, it should be replaced.

How to troubleshoot a DeWalt DWFP55126 when the motor will not run?
    • D
      David MitchellAug 6, 2025
If the motor on your DeWalt Air Compressor won't run: 1. Check the fuse box for a blown fuse and replace it if needed. Reset the circuit breaker, but do not use a fuse or circuit breaker with a higher rating than specified. 2. Ensure you are using a time delay fuse. 3. Check for low voltage and use the correct extension cord. 4. Disconnect other appliances from the circuit or operate the compressor on its own dedicated circuit. Also, the motor will start automatically when tank pressure drops below the cut-in pressure of the pressure switch.

Why does the safety valve pop off on my DeWalt DWFP55126 due to excessive pressure?
    • G
      Gary ScottAug 16, 2025
The safety valve on your DeWalt Air Compressor may pop off due to excessive air tank pressure because the pressure switch isn't shutting off the motor when the compressor reaches its cut-out pressure. If setting the Auto/Off switch to OFF doesn't shut the unit off, contact a DeWalt service center. It could also be that the pressure switch cut-out is set too high; in this case contact a DeWalt service center.
