3.5 Backup
3.5.1 Manual Backup
Users can archive a video clip recorded for a certain period on a selected channel or channels as shown below.
Connect an appropriate USB flash drive and press [SCAN] button to get the system to recognize the device before archiving.
Necessary file size will be shown before burning.
Users can check the [AUTO PLAYER] box to include the viewer file. This function allows the user to play the video clip without having
to install the software on the computer. Otherwise, the file backup format will be in the Manufacturer’s Proprietary Format (PSF).
ACS (Advance Client Software) Backup Player is required.
For proper backup, backup device shall be a well-known major formatted by FAT/FAT32.
DVD-R/+R is supported, but DVD-RW/+RW are generally not supported.
Check the compatible media list provided by ODD driver manufacturer.
Click the [CALCULATE] button to learn the backup file size before executing backup.
Easily backup video with [QUICK BACKUP] during video playback. Refer to section 3.5 for details.
Rename the backup file name and set a password before starting backup process for security purposes. User will
need to input the password to playback the file.
