  Your Dimplex Electric Heater might be turning on and off by itself because the remote control has a similar frequency to other remotes nearby. Try replacing the remote control and initialize to Remote Control Receiver. It could also be due to radio frequency disturbance from outside sources. Try to change the CODE on the Remote Control and initialize Remote Control and Receiver. Another possibility is a defective Remote Control Receiver, which would need to be replaced and initialized to the Remote Control.
