Lube Auger Bearing
Lube auger bearing zerk with MPG every 10
hours.
Check Digging Chain Tension
Check digging chain tension every 10 hours and
adjust as needed. With boom horizontal, measure
distance A from bottom of boom to chain. When
properly tensioned, distance A should be 1.5-2.0”
(38-51 mm).
1. Loosen jam nut on adjustment screw
(shown).
2. To tighten digging chain, turn adjustment screw clockwise. To loosen digging chain, turn
counterclockwise.
3. When proper tension is reached, tighten jam nut.
NOTICE: Do not overtighten chain.
Overtightening will cause chain stretch, loss
of machine performance, and possible
premature chain failure.
