INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
3.2 BATTERY SET-UP
3.2.1 LEAD ACID BATTERY
To setup a lead acid battery, hold the ENTER key and use the up ▲ and down
▼ keys to get to the setting’s options (cog icon )
Press ENTER. Battery type will be displayed.
Press ENTER again and use the up ▲
and down ▼ keys to select the correct
battery type (Wet or Flooded) and press ENTER.
After completing these steps, you may now press the BACK button to return
to the main screen.
3.2.2 LITHIUM BATTERY
To setup a lead acid battery, hold the ENTER key and use the up ▲ and down
▼ keys to get to the setting’s options (cog icon )
Press ENTER. Battery type will be displayed.
Press ENTER again and use the up ▲ and down ▼ keys to select the correct
battery type (LFP) and press ENTER.
After completing these steps, you may now press the BACK button to return
to the main screen.
When the GP-SB-PWM is powered by a solar panel but a battery is not detected, it sends 5 pulses to restore a Lithium battery that has
been protected from over discharge by its BMS. The LCD indicates this process by showing the displays below.
