Why AC will not turn on Dometic PCD5501?
    • A
      Anthony MatthewsSep 12, 2025
The AC might not turn on due to a time-delayed start-up, or the AC circuit breaker might have tripped. The AC can take up to three minutes to respond to on/off commands. If needed, reset the circuit breaker. Also, check if the wall outlet is receiving 120 VAC power and verify that the TM-2021 CAN connector is plugged in tightly, both at the TM-2021 and at the distribution board.

      Valerie SotoAug 21, 2025
If the RV lights aren't turning on, it could be due to a blown software fuse or the LED light needing replacement. Check the Dometic Interact Fuses screen and reset any blown fuses, or replace the LED bulb. Also, ensure that there is 12 VDC power coming from the DB-100 output pin.

Why is there a power loss to my Dometic Interact system?
    • M
      Michael CannonAug 27, 2025
A power loss to the Dometic Interact system can occur if there is too much load on the circuit. Recycle the power to the LCD by turning the breaker for the Dometic Interact on and then back off. Also, check for loose wiring connections or an insufficient power supply, and ensure that the battery is powered properly and that there are no wiring issues from the device.

    • L
      Lee MoranAug 30, 2025
If the furnace isn't functioning properly, it may be in Auto mode, which can cause delays. Reset the circuit breaker if needed. Also, verify that there is 12 VDC power coming from pins 4 and J10 of the TM-2021 and change the Heat mode to Furnace on the Settings screen if the incorrect heating equipment is selected.

How to fix Dometic Controller not connecting to LR-125 Wi-Fi server?
    • T
      timothybrownSep 1, 2025
If you're having difficulty locating or connecting to the LR-125 Wi-Fi server, the LR-125 Wi-Fi module may be out of range. Seek a stronger Wi-Fi signal to enable connection to the server. If the signal is strong enough and it still doesn't work, reset the module to verify that it is working properly, and replace it if needed.

How to fix Dometic PCD5501 fan issues?
    • S
      sheryljonesSep 7, 2025
If the fan won't turn on, the fan lid won't open or close, or the fan lid closes by itself, the system may be frozen, or the rain sensor may have closed the lids and turned off the fan. Reboot the system by interrupting the power supply for ten seconds. Check to see if the fan has a rain sensor (Fan-Tastic fan model 7350 only). Verify that there is 12 VDC power on the MS-733 relay out A and B when the lid is opened or closed, and on the other relay when the motor is on. Ensure that there are correct voltage readings on the TM-2021. Check all wiring connections and correct any loose connections as needed.
