6 Installation
Observe the following instructions:
• Install the device close to the batteries to keep the battery connection cable as short as possible.
• Ensure that the mounting surface is solid and level.
• Choose an location that is well ventilated and protected from moisture and dust.
• Keep a distance of 10 cm to all sides around the device.
• Before drilling any holes, ensure that no electrical cables or other parts of the vehicle can be damaged by
drilling, sawing, or filing.
• Completely cover all solar panels with an opaque material during installation to prevent electricity from
being generated.
• Observe the recommended cable cross sections, cable lengths and fuse.
• Place the fuses near the batteries to protect the cables from short circuits and possible burning.
• To ensure measuring the internal temperature of the battery connect the temperature sensor provided to
the negative terminal of the house battery.

8 Disposal
Recycling packaging material: Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins
wherever possible.
Recycling products with non-replaceable batteries, rechargeable batteries or light sources:
• If the product contains any non-replaceable batteries, rechargeable batteries or light
sources, you don't have to remove them before disposal.
• If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling center or specialist deal-
er for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.
• The product can be disposed free of charge.
