6.1 Notes on installation

When selecting the installation location for the devices, observe the following
instructions:
 The devices must be installed in a place that is protected from moisture.
 Do not install the devices in a dusty environment.
 The device must be installed on a level and sufficiently sturdy surface.
 Do not install the devices on the ceiling.
 Do not forget to take the length of the cable into account.
 Lay the cables in the cable channels.
 Secure the connected cables using suitable fittings, e.g. cable clamps, to
ensure the plug cannot be pulled off.
NOTICE!
Dometic Smart D must only be installed and connected by
qualified personnel who are familiar with the relevant VDE
(German Engineering Society) regulations.
