4.2.1.1. The remote control
The opening, closing and stop of the door in an intermediate position is carried out by pressing
the remote control buttons. Stop in the extreme positions is carried out in accordance with the
integrated speed sensor.
When the door is closed, the motor drives of the series Sectional and Fast perform the function
of a lock. If there is no power or there is a fault of the drive, you must to bring the drive out of
engagement from outside or from inside and open the door manually.
4.2.1.2. The setting the motor drive to the manual mode
For setting the motor drive to the manual operation mode, pull the releaser cord down, as
shown in Fig. 1. The carriage should come out of engagement with the chain, whereupon the
door can be lifted / lowered manually.
4.2.1.3. The setting the motor drive to the automatic mode
For setting the motor drive to the automatic mode, pull the releaser cord down once and release
it, and after that carefully slide the door manually until the carriage comes into gear with the
chain. Apply a control signal from the remote or the buttons, then the automatic system restarts
the operation immediately after the power-up.
4.2.1.4. The external releaser (optional)
The external lanyard releaser is designed for manual emergency unlocking the door from the
street side when disconnecting the power supply or failure of the automatic system to gain
access to the premises through the passage, secured by the door (in absence of a wicket-door
or additional entrance to the premises).
