7. THE WARRANTY
7.1. The warranty period
The Buyer of a GK DoorHan sectional door benefits of an operation performance warranty for a
period of one year from the date of the ex works delivery of the door.
ON THE ASSUMPTION OF REGISTRATION OF THE IDENTIFICATION
NUMBER OF THE PRODUCT ON THE MANUFACTURER'S WEB SITE
HTTP://WWW.DOORHAN.RU/ELECTRONIC/ AND MEETING THE
REQUIREMENTS DESCRIBED IN THIS SERVICE BOOK, THE
WARRANTY PERIOD WILL BE INCREASED TO 2 YEARS!
I If during the warranty period defects will appear that would prevent the normal operation of the
door , the warranty period will be extended for the time necessary to eliminate the defects . The
Buyer has the right to put forward warranty claims to be examined by DoorHan’s quality control
department . All warranty claims during the warranty period are subject to the observation , by
the Buyer , of the rules of operation and regular maintenance as per recommendations and
sequence written in the Service Book.
In the case of purchase of the product from the manufacturer and if disagreements appear in
the interpretation of the warranty conditions established both in the Service Book and in the
purchase Contract , the warranty conditions of the Contract will have prevail .
7.2. The terms of warranty
This Service Book filled - in , in accordance with all the described rules and with form 1.1 ,
including the Product Identification Number , gives the right to put forward warranty claims.
TO AVOID MISUNDERSTANDINGS, CAREFULLY REVIEW THE
TERMS OF WARRANTY AND CHECK THE CORRECTNESS OF
FILLING UP THE SERVICE BOOK.
7.3. The warranty responsibility
During the warranty period , GK DoorHan ensures elimination of all confirmed defects that are
due to manufacturing faults , with the exception of the circumstances specified in Par. 7.4.
GK DoorHan does not compensate the cost of disassembling and the installation of the doors or
parts , as well as transportation expenses incurred for warranty items.
The parts and components replaced as a result of a warranty service , become the property of
GK DoorHan and can be claimed at any time .
7.4. The circumstances that exclude the warranty responsibility
The manufacturers warranty for the product becomes invalid in the following cases :
. substandard or inappropriate product installation not conforming to the installation and
operation manuals ;
. failure in performing the regular preventive service and maintenance according to the
recommendations of this Service Book ;
