2.3.20. Turbo charger
z No special maintenance is required for the turbo charger.
z Each time you replace engine oil, you should also check the leak or blocking of
the oil pipe.
z The air filter should be managed carefully, so that no foreign object goes into the
filter. The charged compressed air and exhaust pipe should be checked periodically.
The exhaust leak should be fixed immediately, because it causes engine overheating.
z You should clean impeller frequently, while working at the site with much dust and
oil. Disassemble impeller casing (caution: Do not bend!) and clean with non-acid
solvent. Use the plastic scraper, if necessary.
z If the impeller is polluted seriously, soak into solvent and clean with stiff brushes.
At this time, soak the impeller only, and support the turbo charger with the bearing
housing, instead of the impeller.
