Rocker arm
Disassembly Rocker Arm
1. Remove the snap ring on both sides of the rocker arm
shaft using snap ring plier.
2. Remove the washer and rocker arm.
3. Remove the rocker arm bush using press.

Check of Rocker Arm
1. Rocker arm bracket (Single unit type with a shaft):
Measure the outer diameter of rocker arm bracket with
outside micrometer at the position that the rocker arm is
installed, and in case that it exceeds the limit value,
replace.

2. Rocker arm: Inspect the rocker arm surface that contacts
with the valve stem for any scratch, step wear and correct
the minor degree of wear with an oil stone or the fine
grinding paper and replace if they are severe.
Assembly Rocker Arm
1. Check if here is foreign substance in the oil delivery hole
of the rocker arm shaft, and clean it, if any.
2. Attach the rocker arm in the reverse order of assembly.

If the wear is severe, replace new one.
Be careful not to change the rocker arm position or
assemble it in a reverse order.
