How to use the Connect & Care
®
service on your Doro
phone
Activate the Doro Connect & Care
®
the first time
1. When your Carer admin has setup the Doro Connect & Care
®
service
you will receive a message on your Doro phone asking Would you
like to join the Doro Connect & Care?
2. Press Yes.
3. You will then after a short while receive a second message on your
Doro phone asking you to confirm that you want to join the contact
list.
4. Press Yes.
5. The Doro Connect & Care
®
service is now activated on your Doro
phone. You can verify that Doro Connect & Care
®
is activated by
pressing Menu
and you will now see the new option Help request
.
Requesting help
Once the Doro Connect & Care
®
service is activated and you want to re-
quest help or assistance:
1. Press Menu
Help request OK e.g. Shopping.
2. Select the type of help you need; Shopping, Transport, Practical is-
sues. Personal matters, or if none of the predefined help request
types correspond to the kind of assistance you are looking for, sim-
ply select Enter free text to write free text to describe what you need
help with.
3. SelectOK, to send the help request your Carers.
Check who administers your Connect & Care
®
service
1. Press Menu
Help request C & C Details.
2. You now see who has activated and administers your Connect &
Care
®
service and also the date for activation.
3. Press Back to confirm and return to the previous menu.
Set the Assistance Button to Connect & Care
®
Your Doro phone comes with an Assistance Button on the rear of the
handset. The Assistance Button can be configured to automatically
