Incoming calls can be answered by pressing even if the keypad is locked.
During the call, the keypad is unlocked. When the call is ended or rejected,
the keypad is locked again.
Lock keys
1. Press to open the Menu Lock keys.
2. Press .
Unlock
Longpress .
Note! Depending on phone settings, automatic key lock can be enabled
after a set time. See Keypad lock, p.43.
IUP
Mandown (IUP) is a lone person protection function that can send an alarm
manually by pressing the assistance button or automatically by enabling
one of the below described activation modes.
Alarm features
Note! You can always deactivate the alarm by pressing .
The Mandown function is temporarily inactive when the phone is being
charged, during an ongoing call and when handling the menus of the
phone.
Activate Mandown
1. Press to open the Menu IUP.
2. Select the type of activation mode:
Horizontal deviation, see Horizontal deviation, p.18.
Vertical deviation, see Vertical deviation, p.19
Motionless, see Motionless, p.19.
Horizontal deviation and motionless combined (combination of
horizontal and motionless). See Horizontal deviation and motion-
less combined, p.20
Vertical deviation and motionless combined (combination of
vertical and motionless). See Vertical deviation and motionless
combined, p.20
Off (disabled) to disable.
