■ Servicing
Disconnect the printer from the AC power supply before any
operationsrequiringcomponentstoberemovedorexchanged.
Useappropriatetoolsforanyworkontheprinter.
Servicing must be performed only by qualied people who are
appropriatelytrained.
■ Maintenance
Donotattempttoopenanysealedsectionsofthesystem!These
sectionsdonotrequireanymaintenanceontheuser’spart.
Disconnect the system from the power supply connected to the
printerbeforeperformingworkrequiringtheremovalorreplacement
ofcomponents.
Use appropriate tools for any work on electrical and pneumatic
components.Donot use pointed orsharpobjects when replacing
thethermalprinthead.
Werecommendmaintenanceworktobecarriedoutonlybystaffwho
have received technical training from Markem-Imaje and wearing
personal protective equipment (safety shoes, glasses, gloves...).
Anymaintenanceworknotdescribedinthismanualmustbecarried
outbyMarkem-Imajetechnicians.
