Smart heater monitors room temp, produces heat only when needed.

Heater Cycles But Doesnt Produce Heat

Ensure desired temperature is set higher than room temperature.

Turning Off the Heater

Switch to STANDBY mode or POWER OFF the heater.

Blower Fan Operation

Fan runs for 60s every 4 min to clear residual heat, uses little power.

Heater Airflow Diminished

Check rear intake is not blocked and filter is clean.

Heating Time to Reach Room Temperature

Depends on room size, insulation, doors, windows, and outside temp.

Heating Multiple Rooms

Can heat multiple rooms with ceiling fans; placement in central room helps.

Using Heater in Poorly Insulated Home

Focuses heat where people spend most time, not multiple rooms.

Extension Cords, Surge Protectors, Power Strips

Do not use; plug directly into a grounded 120V 15 Amp circuit.

Heater Power Consumption

Model DR-968H uses approximately 1.26 kilowatts per hour.

Heater BTU Rating

Model DR-968H is approximately 5200 BTUs.

Warm Power Cord Concern

Normal for cord to feel warm; hot/distorted cord indicates worn outlet.

Grounded Outlet Alternatives

Do not use adapters or remove grounding plug; contact electrician.
