Use
While the breath sample is given, a
continuous tone sounds, the green light
is illuminated and, Breath sample
appears on the display.
When the breath sample has been
given, the green light goes out, the
continuous tone will stop and a short
clicking sound can be heard.
On the display, Analysis appears.
The test result will appear on the display
after 5 to 25 seconds (depending on the
the device temperature and the
measured concentration).
4. Push the mouthpiece
upwards out of the
mouthpiece receptacle.
5. Dispose of the mouthpiece in
accordance with local
regulations.
3.3.1 Carry out another measurement
Pressing the OK key will prepare a new
measurement.
During the recovery time of the sensors,
see section 11 on page 34, the number
of seconds and a rotating bar appear on
the display.
NOTICE
The measurement result is displayed with the corresponding
unit. The unit has been set to mg/L (milligrams
of ethanol per litre of breath) at the plant and can be changed
via the menu. In addition to the result of the measurement, an
acoustic signal is output, for instance:
PASS – 1 x, ALERT – 2 x, FAIL – 3 x
While the result is shown on the display, a measurement
protocol can be generated with the optional Dräger Mobile
Printer. Completed tests can be re-printed from the Last
Tests menu.
