Reprocessing list
Applicable to non-infectious patients.
The reprocessing list contains guiding values only.
The instructions of the hospital’s infection control
officer shall prevail and must be observed by the
user!
Before using on patients again
1 Gather the necessary device components, see
chapter on assembly and preparation.
2 Mount the parts in reverse order from disas-
sembly.
3 Check readiness for operation, chapter Getting
Started.

Prerequisites
Locating leakages in the breathing circuit
The check must be performed once without vapor-
izer and once with vaporizer. Control dial is in the
zero position.
The D-Vapor
1)
must be switched on for the leakage
test. After the leakage test has ended, switch off the
D-Vapor again.
Change to Standby mode and press the
soft key for the leakage test.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
If the system has leakage (the pressure drops):
z Check all plug connections and screw con-
nections for a tight seat.
z Replace missing or damaged seals. If nec-
essary, contact DrägerService or the local
authorized service partner.
1) The D-Vapor may not be used with Fabius MRI in an MR
environment.
