4.2 Cleaning and disinfecting
Clean and disinfect the half mask after every use.
For information about suitable cleaning and disinfecting
agents and their specifications refer to document 9100081 on
www.draeger.com/IFU
.
WARNING
The mask body must be cleaned thoroughly so that no
residues from skin care products remain on it. Otherwise the
elasticity in the sealing area can be lost, and the mask will no
longer fit correctly.
If this warning is not heeded, poisoning or death can result.
CAUTION
Risk of damaging the material!
Do not use any solvents (e.g. acetone, alcohol) or cleaning
agents containing abrasive particles for cleaning and
disinfecting. Only apply the described procedures and use the
cleaning and disinfecting agents given. Other agents, dosages
and exposure times may damage the product.
NOTICE
Silicone is prone to absorb cleaning agents and disinfectants.
In case of repeated cleaning or disinfection the agents can
accumulate in the silicone. This may result in skin irritations
when wearing the mask. Therefore strictly follow the cleaning
and disinfecting procedure. Thoroughly rinse each part for at
least 10 minutes under running water.
