SOLUTION
Pilot Will Not Light
Insufficient Gas Flow
- Confirm main gas control valve is open.
- Confirm that any installed secondary control valves are open.
- Confirm gas pressure is within required ranges (See Page 4).
- (LP System Only) Check Liquid Propane tank is not empty.
- (LP System Only) Check regulator for damage or improper installation.
- (LP System Only) Fire pit valve must be OFF when tank is turned ON.
Turn tank valve ON slowly to allow pressure to equalize.
Air In System
Depending on the length of gas line and time since last use, it may take a few
minutes of gas flow for the system to purge all air and allow ignition.
Insufficient Gas Flow
To Pilot
There is a pilot adjustment valve behind the control knob. Using a small flat-head
screwdriver, turn the pilot valve counterclockwise to increase gas flow to the pilot.
This should be kept at the minimum level required for operation of the appliance.
