Single play operation
Vertical tracking angle selector @on "'s".
Insert the short, single-play spindle (and,
for 45 rpm records, the center-hole adapter),
then place the desired record on the turntable.
Select the appropriate turntable speed O),
set the record size selector @ to 7”, 10” or
12" resp. (17, 25 or 30 cm), depending on the
size of the record you want to play, and
unlock the tonearm (Fig. 7).
Now the turntable is ready to play
1. Automatic tonearm setdown
Move the operating switch to “start”. The
tonearm will gently lower onto the record and
the stylus will find the run-in groove smoothly,
2. Manual operation
a) Move the cue control to Y.
b) Place the tonearm by hand over the de-
sired point on the record.
c) Gently move the cue control lever back
to Y
3. To play a record agaín from the beginning:
Push the operating lever to “start”,
4. To interrupt play
Move the cue control lever to position Y, .
When the tonearm is returned to playing
position, the last few measures of music al-
ready played will be repeated,

5. Turning off:
Push the control key to “stop”. The tone-
arm will move onto the rest, and the unit will
turn itself off,
: At the end of a record, or at the end
of the last record of a stack, the return of the
tonearm and switch-off are automatic, It is
advisable to lock the tonearm in place (Fig. 7)
after turning off the system.
Automatic record change
Vertical tracking angle selector @on “m”.
Insert either the conventional changer (long)
spindle @ or the special one for large-hole (Y),
45 rpm records*, so that the pin slips into
the corresponding slot in the shaft, Lock
the spindle in place by pressing down on it
and turning it to the right, until it stops.
You can stack up six records of the same
size and speed.
When you move the operating switch to
“start”, the first record will drop and the
tonearm will lift, move to the record, then
descend. If you wish to reject a record
that is playing and move on to the next
move the operating switch once again to
“start”,
Note: Records that have been played can
be lifted back up’ the spindle for repeat
plays, or removed altogether. There is no
need to remove the spindle in either case.
* The 45 rpm record spindle AS 12 is
available from radio dealers as an accessory.
Continuous automatic play
Once the record has been laid down on the
turntable, insert the center piece through the
multipleplay spindle. It is recommended to
place a 45 rpm record on top of the center
piece for added weight, The record will then
play continuously without interruption
