Revisione perno ruota
anteriore
Verificare l'entità della distorsione del
perno ruota.
Ruotare su di un piano di riscontro il
perno e controllare con uno
spessimetro il valore massimo della
distorsione (vedere Sez. C 1.1).
Revisione cerchio anteriore e
posteriore
Una volta accertato il buono stato dei
cuscinetti è necessario eseguire la
verifica del cerchio operando nel
modo seguente.
Effettuare un controllo visivo per
individuare eventuali deformazioni,
solchi o crepe: se necessario
sostituire il cerchio.
Inserire il perno nella ruota e
posizionarlo su due riscontri fissi.
Utilizzando un comparatore, rilevare i
valori di sbandamento laterale ed
eccentricità del cerchio ruota rispetto
all'asse del perno (vedere Sez. C 1.1).
Se i valori riscontrati non rientrano nel
limite è necessario sostituire il
cerchio.
Overhauling the front wheel
shaft
Check distortion of the wheel shaft.
Roll the shaft on a surface plate and
measure maximum distortion using a
feeler gauge (see Sect. C 1.1).
Overhauling the front and rear
wheel rim
After you have checked the bearings,
check the rims as follows.
Visually inspect the rim for cracks,
scoring and deformation; change the
rim if damaged.
Insert the wheel shaft in the wheel
and mount the shaft on two fixed
reference blocks.
Using a dial gauge, measure rim run-
out and out-of-round relative to wheel
shaft axis (see Sect. C 1.1).
If the values measured are not within
the limits, change the rim.
