2 - AVVIAMENTO -
RISCALDAMENTO
MOTORE
Avviamento motore
Temperatura ambiente fredda
(compresa tra 10 °C / 50 °F e 35 °C /
95 °F)
Spostare l'interruttore d'accensione
sulla posizione ON. Verificare che la
spia verde e quella rossa sul cruscotto
risultino accese (Sez. P 7).
Spostare la leva comando starter in
posizione (B). Lasciare che il motore
si avvii spontaneamente, senza
azionare il comando dell'acceleratore.
Spostare la leva comando starter
verso la posizione verticale (A).
Importante
La spia che indica la pressione
dell'olio deve spegnersi alcuni secondi
dopo l'avvio del motore. Se la spia
rimane accesa, fermare il motore e
controllare il livello dell'olio (Sez. P 7).
Non avviare il motore se la pressione
dell'olio è insufficiente.
Importante
In caso di mancato avviamento,
accertarsi che l'interruttore di arresto
(2) sia nella posizione (RUN), premere
quindi il pulsante di avviamento (3)
entro 15 secondi dal "KEY ON".
Il motociclo è dotato di una centralina
a risparmio energetico al fine di
evitare assorbimenti di corrente in
caso di permanenza in chiave ON, la
centralina dopo 15 secondi trascorsi
senza azionare il pulsante di
avviamento si disattiva, trascorso
questo tempo riposizionare la chiave
su OFF e nuovamente su ON. È
consigliabile comunque non lasciare
la chiave su ON a motore spento.
Note
Questo modello è provvisto di
avviamento servoassistito, tale
funzione permette l'avviamento
servoassistito del motore premendo
e rilasciando immediatamente il
pulsante 3. Alla pressione del
pulsante 3 si ha l'avviamento
automatico del motore per un tempo
MAX variabile in funzione della
temperatura del motore stesso.
A motore avviato il sistema inibisce il
trascinamento del motorino
d'avviamento. In caso di mancata
accensione del motore è necessario
aspettare almeno 2 sec. prima di
premere nuovamente il pulsante 3.
2 - STARTING – ENGINE
WARM-UP
Starting the engine
Cold ambient temperature
(10 °C / 50 °F - 35 °C / 95 °F)
Move the ignition key to ON. Make
sure both the green light and the red
light on the instrument panel come on
(Sect. P 7).
Move the choke lever to (B).
Let the engine start without using the
throttle.
Move the choke lever to vertical
position (A).
Caution
The oil pressure light should go
out a few seconds after the engine
has started. If the light stays on, stop
the engine and check oil level (Sect. P
7).
Never start the engine when oil
pressure is too low.
Caution
If the engine fails to start, check
that the stop switch (2) is positioned
to (RUN), and then press the starter
button (3) within 15 seconds from
KEY ON.
This model is fitted with an energy-
saving control unit that avoids current
absorption if the key stays on ON, the
control units is disabled if the starter
button is not pressed after 15
seconds from key-on, take the key to
OFF and back to ON to restart. It is
recommended not to leave the key to
ON when engine is off.
Note
This model is equipped with a
servoignition system, and the engine
is started by pressing the button 3
and releasing it immediately.
When the button 3 is pressed, the
servoignition system automatically
cranks the engine for a MAX period of
time that varies depending on engine
temperature.
Once the engine has started, the
system prevents the starter motor
from turning over.
If the engine fails to start, allow at
least 2 seconds before pressing the
button 3 again.
