Importante
Non far funzionare il motore, ad
un elevato numero di giri. Quando è
freddo aspettare il riscaldamento
dell'olio e la sua circolazione in tutti i
punti che necessitano di
lubrificazione.
Attenzione
È possibile avviare il motociclo
con il cavalletto laterale esteso ed il
cambio in posizione di folle, oppure
con la marcia del cambio inserita,
tenendo tirata la leva della frizione (in
questo caso il cavalletto deve essere
chiuso).
Successivamente, man mano che il
motore si scalda, portare
progressivamente la leva dello starter
(1) in posizione verticale.
Il motore regimato termicamente
dovrà tenere il minimo con starter
completamente chiuso.
Temperatura ambiente alta
(oltre i 30 °C / 86 °F )
Eseguire la stessa procedura senza
utilizzare il comando starter (1).
Note
Per avviare il motore già caldo
seguire la procedura descritta per
"temperatura ambiente alta".
Caution
Do not rev up the engine when
it is cold. Allow some time for oil to
warm up and reach all points that
need lubricating.
Warning
The motorcycle can be started
with the side stand down and the
gearbox in neutral, or with a gear
engaged, the side stand up and the
clutch lever pulled in.
Shift gradually the choke lever (1) to
vertical position as the engine warms
up.
The engine should run regularly at
idling speed when the choke is fully
closed.
High ambient temperature
(over 30 °C / 86 °F )
Follow the same procedure, however
do not use the choke lever (1).
Note
Follow the procedure for “High
ambient temperature” to start a
warm engine.
