Simply remove the existing hex nuts and thread on the wing nuts. The old
hardware stores on the tilt base for future use. Purchase two sets to also allow
tightening of the lower mounting hardware without tools - and for extended periods of upright installation
and use. (Not for use with the OMNI-TILT™ Base)

DX Engineering OMNI-TILT™ Vertical Antenna Tilt Bases are a completely new design that incorporates
features that make this Tilt Base a 'must have' for all types of vertical antennas. The OMNI-TILT™ is patterned
on the same proven safe technology as the patented DX Engineering SAF-T-TILT™ and the patented DXE-TB-
3P Tilt Bases, which are designed to prevent the antenna from falling when the fasteners are loosened. The user
simply lifts the OMNI-TILT™ base plate and this positive action disengages the bolts from the top slot, which
allows the user to easily and safely walk the ground-mounted antenna up or down for tuning, maintenance,
stealth antenna stowing, or if extreme weather is on the way. This Tilt Base is virtually indestructible.
Conveniently mounts to the same pipe or post that you use for the antenna and radial plate. DXE-OMNITILT-
1P for Hustler BTV series and Hy-Gain AVQ series Trap Vertical Antennas - Both antenna types use the
supplied DXE-TVA-HWK Trap Vertical Mounting Hardware kit. For STEEL pipe from 1.25" to 2.5" OD the new all-Stainless
Steel DXE-OTMC-25P are the recommended clamps. No other hardware is required because the Hustler
®
BTV series base section
attaches directly to the DX Engineering OMNI-TILT
™
-1P Tilt Base with the included hardware in the -1P kit.

and hardware sets that mount a pipe or tube to a plate with extreme security. Featuring two folded
stainless steel toothed V-saddles with multiple points of grip, these clamps provide superior
clamping and holding power than generic U-bolts. Designed for the DX Engineering OMNI-
TILT
™
Tilt Bases, all stainless steel OTMC Mounting Clamp Kits may be used in many
applications for mounting antennas and other apparatus to pipes and tubing. These clamps can
mount pipes and tubing ranging from 1-1/4 up to 2-1/2 inches OD (outside diameter). Two Clamp
Kits are required for use when installing the OMNI-TILT™ Tilt Base. Two Clamp Kits are required for the OMNI-TILT
