Why does my Dyna-Glo FA40 BTU keep quitting while running?
    • M
      Michelle HodgeAug 12, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater quits while running, it might be due to a high internal temperature triggering the limit switch. Ensure the heater's output isn't blocked by moving it away from obstructions. Another potential cause is a damaged control valve, which would need replacing. Also, dust or debris buildup inside the heater can cause it to stop; clean the inside of the heater to resolve this.

What to do if my Dyna-Glo FA40 BTU Gas Heater will not fire?
    • H
      Heather JonesAug 22, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater won't fire, start by inspecting the ignitor wire and re-attaching or tightening it if it's loose. Next, check the spark gap and set it according to the specifications. If the issue persists, the electrode might be bad and need replacement.

How to fix a Dyna-Glo FA40 BTU when the fan does not turn on?
    • J
      John GomezAug 31, 2025
If your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater fan isn't turning when connected, first check the power supply to the outlet. If there is power, ensure the fan blades aren't hitting the heater housing or obstructed. Bent fan blades can also prevent rotation; straighten them to match the others. If none of these issues are present, the fan motor may be defective and require replacement.
