(natural or propane) gas. Field conversion is not
permitted.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable vapors and Iiquids in vicinity of this or
any other appliance.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the re department.
- Installation and service must be performed by a qualied installer, service agency or the
gas supplier.
This is an unvented gas-red heater. It uses air (oxygen) from the room in which it is
installed. Provisions for adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided.
Refer to Air For Combustion and Ventilation section on page 8 of this manual.
This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket, permanently located, manufactured (mobile)
home, where not prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on the rating plate.
This appliance is not convertible for use with other gases.

      If your Dyna-Glo Heater shuts off after running a few minutes, here are some possible causes and solutions: * Ensure the gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. * Make sure the control knob is fully pressed in while pressing the Ignitor. * If there's air in the gas lines from installation, keep holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. * The ODS/pilot might be clogged; clean it or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. * Verify the control knob is in the PILOT position. * If using propane, the gas supply may be depleted; contact your local propane/LP gas company.

      If the ODS/pilot light of your Dyna-Glo Heater lights but the flame goes out when you release the control knob: * Ensure the control knob is fully pressed in. * After the ODS/pilot lights, keep the control knob pressed in for 30-60 seconds. * Make sure the equipment shutoff valve is fully open. * Check the thermocouple connection and hand tighten it until it is snug, then tighten it an additional ¼ turn. * The thermocouple may be damaged and require replacement. * Inlet gas pressure may be too high; contact your gas supplier to check and adjust the inlet pressure.

      If there is no spark at the ODS/pilot when the ignitor is pressed on your Dyna-Glo Heater, it could be due to several reasons: * The ignitor electrode may be positioned wrong or broken, consider replacing the ODS. * The ignitor electrode might not be connected to the ignitor cable, consider replacing the ignitor cable. * The ignitor cable could be pinched or wet; free the cable if pinched and keep it dry. * The ignitor cable may be damaged, consider replacing it. * The piezo ignitor or ignition module could be bad, consider replacing it. * The battery might be bad, consider replacing it.
