- Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable vapors and Iiquids in vicinity of this or
any other appliance.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the re department.
- Installation and service must be performed by a qualied installer, service agency or the
gas supplier.
This is an unvented gas-red heater. It uses air (oxygen) from the room in which it is
installed. Provisions for adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided.
Refer to Air For Combustion and Ventilation section on page 8 of this manual.
This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket, permanently located, manufactured (mobile)
home, where not prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on the rating plate.
This appliance is not convertible for use with other gases.

      If you notice white powder residue forming within the burner box or on adjacent walls or furniture near your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater, turn the heater off when using furniture polish, wax, carpet cleaner, or similar products, as the vapors from these products turn into white powder residue when heated.

      If the fan is not spinning on your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater, verify that the fan is plugged in and set to "MAN" or "AUTO". Allow 5-10 minutes for the fan to engage. If it still does not work, replace the fan.

      If your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater produces a whistling noise when the burner is lit, turn the control knob to the low (1) position and let it warm up for a minute. Operate the burner until air is removed from the line and have the gas line checked by your local propane/LP gas company. Observe minimum installation clearances, and clean the burner.

      If your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater produces unwanted odors, ventilate the room and stop using odor-causing products while the heater is running, as the heater may be burning vapors from paint, hair spray, glues, etc. Locate and correct any gas leaks. For Propane /LP models, refill the supply tank.

      If there is no spark at the ODS/pilot when the ignitor is pressed on your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater, replace the ODS. Also, replace the ignitor cable or free it if it is pinched by any metal or tubing, and keep the ignitor cable dry. You might also need to replace the ignitor or ignition module, or replace the battery.

      If your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater shuts off after running for a few minutes, make sure the gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Fully press in the control knob while pressing the ignitor and continue holding it down, repeating the igniting operation until air is removed. You may also need to clean the ODS/pilot or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. Ensure the control knob is in the PILOT position. If problems persist, contact your local propane/LP gas company.
