(natural or propane) gas. Field conversion is not
permitted.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable vapors and Iiquids in vicinity of this or
any other appliance.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the re department.
- Installation and service must be performed by a qualied installer, service agency or the
gas supplier.
This is an unvented gas-red heater. It uses air (oxygen) from the room in which it is
installed. Provisions for adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided.
Refer to Air For Combustion and Ventilation section on page 8 of this manual.
This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket, permanently located, manufactured (mobile)
home, where not prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated on the rating plate.
This appliance is not convertible for use with other gases.

      If you observe a high yellow flame during burner combustion in your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater, check the burner for dirt and debris and clean it if necessary. If the issue persists, the gas regulator may need to be replaced.

      If the burner(s) on your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater do not light after the ODS/pilot is lit, try turning the thermostat knob to a higher setting. You can also try cleaning the burner orifice. If the problem persists, contact customer service or your gas supplier for assistance.

    What to do if the Dyna-Glo Gas Heater pilot lights but goes out when I release the control knob?

      If the ODS/pilot light of your Dyna-Glo Gas Heater lights but the flame goes out when you release the control knob, ensure that you are pressing the control knob fully. After the ODS/pilot lights, keep the control knob pressed in for 30-60 seconds. Also, fully open the equipment shutoff valve and hand tighten gas connections until they are snug, then tighten an additional ¼ turn. If the issue continues, the thermocouple may need to be replaced. For further assistance, contact customer service or your gas supplier to check and adjust the inlet pressure.
