REMOTE HANDHELD DIAGNOSTIC TESTER ////////
The GM DCBS is equipped with a Make, Model, Year (MMY) database of GM
vehicles from model year 2010 to current* on MMY selection. VIN Scan is
available from model year 2012 to current*.
*The database is updated continuously.
Vehicle Selection from Database
Press any key to highlight the “Diagnostic” Icon.
Press the button on the keypad to go to the next screen.
Select “Remote”.
Select “Database”.
Select “VIN Scan” (2012-Current) to scan the VIN of the vehicle and follow the Diagram.
The “Selected Vehicle” will come up
once the VIN is scanned.
If there is more than one battery
per MMY, the tool will ask to make a
selection.
