MODEL 2050T + 2050TP
BROADCAST SPREADER
HELPFUL HINTS:
READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLY
WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS,
READ THE DIRECTIONS AGAIN.
e if your spreader does not spread evenly, be sure the arrow on the
gear box points to the front of the spreader. The impeller must
turn clockwise. Reversing the gear box will cause the impeller to
turn counter clockwise. Clean the impeller plate after each use.
Fertilizer stuck on the impeller blades will cause uneven
spreading.
e Your spreader is designed to be pushed at three miles per hour,
which is a brisk walking speed. Slower or faster speeds will
change the spread patterns. Wet fertilizer wili also change the
spread pattern and flow rate. Clean your spreader thoroughly
after each use. Wash between the shut-off plate and bottom of
the hopper.
+ Gears are permanently lubricated at the factory. Do not open the
gear box or dirt may enter.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: Before filling hopper, become
familiar with the operation of this spreader.
1. Obtain proper setting for material to be used from the RATE
SETTING CHART included with this spreader.
2. Move stop bolt on rate gauge assembly to the proper setting.
3. While pulling spreader forward, puli control lever back to stop
bolt.
4. To stop, push lever forward to close flow holes before you stop
moving.
5. When finished, empty any remaining material from hopper.
6. Thoroughly wash spreader and allow to dry before storing. No
oiling is necessary.
The settings furnished on the Rate Setting Chart are intended as a guide only.
Variations ìn physical characteristics of material applied, walking speed, and
roughness of ground surface may require slightly different spreader settings. Due
to the above conditions, EARTHWAY PRODUCTS, INC. makes no warranty as to
the uniformity of coverage actually obtained from the settings listed.
WARRANTY
EARTHWAY guarantees this product to be free of defects in
original workmanship and materials for a period of 90 days from
the date of sale to the original user. If any defect develops during
this period EARTHWAY will repair or replace this product at no
charge provided the defect is not the result of mishandling or
tampering and that this product is received at the factory with
shipping charges paid. Proof of purchase must be included. For
quicker service you may call EARTHWAY at 1-800-678-0671 or
write and describe the nature of the defect and we will send repair
parts to you. This warranty does not cover labor charges.
Due to the corrosive nature of most fertilizers and ice melters,
EARTHWAY PRODUCTS, INC. makes no warranty or guarantee
against corrosion failure on models with plated steel or painted
steel frames. Clean your spreader well after each use.

e Si votre épandeur n’épand pas uniformément, assurez-vous que la
flèche sure la vitesse pointe vers l'avant de l’épandeur. Le rotor doit
tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre. Si l'embrayage est
inversé, le rotor va tourner dans le sens contraire des aiguilles
d'une montre. Nettoyer la plaque du rotor après chaque utilisation.
De l'engrais collé sur les lames du rotor rendrait l'épandage inégal.
Votre épandeur est conçu pour être poussé à trois miles à l'heure,
ce qui est la vitesse d'une marche rapide. Si vous allez moins vite
ou plus vite, cela changera le style de l'épandage. De l'engrais
humide changera aussi le style et le débit de l'épandage. Nettoyer
soigneusement votre épandeur après chaque utilisation. Laver
entre la plaque qui fait clapet et le fond de la trémie.
Les vitesses sont lubrifiées de façon permanente à l'usine. Ne pas
ouvrir la boîte de vitesse sinon de la poussière pourrait s'y déposer.

NOTICE D'EMPLOI: Avant de remplir la trémie, se familiariser avec
le fonctionnement de cet épandeur.
1. Mettre sure le réglage qu'il faut pour vous en servir en vous
référant au TABLEAU DES REGLAGES qui est fourni avec
l'épandeur.
2. Placer le boulon d'arrêt sur la jauge de vitesse sur le bon réglage.
3. Tout en poussant l'épandeur, ramener le levier de contrôle
jusqu'au boulon d'arrêt.
4. Pour arrêter, pousser le levier vers l'avant pour fermer les orifices
de débit avant d'arrêter de bouger.
5. Quand vous avez terminé, vider entierement la trémie.
6. Nettoyer soigneusement l'épandeur et le faire sécher avant de la
ranger. Pas de lubrication nécessaire.
Les positions fournies sur le tableau des réglages sont seulement pour vous guider.
Des variations des caractéristiques de lengrais appliqué, la vitesse a laquelle vous
marchez et l’état du soi nécesseciteront peutêtre des réglages différents de votre
épandeur. Étant donné ces conditions, EARTHWAY PRODUCTS, INC. ne garantie
pas l’uniformité de l'épandage obtenue si vous utilisez les réglages énumérés.
GARANTIE
EARTHWAY garantit que ce produit n’a pas de défaut dans sa
fabrication d'origine ou dans les matériaux utilisés et ce pendant
90 jours de la date d'achat du premier utilisateur. Si des defauts se
developpent pendant cette période, EARTHWAY reparera ou
remplacera l'appareil sans aucun frais sauf si le défaut est le
