Why is my Eaton Evolution 1550 overloaded?
    • K
      Kenneth PowersAug 12, 2025
If the Eaton UPS displays Button (10) and LEDs (13) and T (14) are ON and all the LEDs on the bargraph (8) flashing, it indicates that the percent load is exceeding the set overload level or the UPS capacity. To address this, verify the power consumption of the connected devices, disconnect any non-priority equipment, and review the overload level settings.

      Nicole OrtizAug 20, 2025
If the button and LEDs are ON and all the LEDs on the bargraph are flashing on your Eaton UPS, it means the percent load is greater than the set overload level or UPS capacity. To resolve this, check the power drawn by the connected devices and disconnect any non-priority devices. Also, check the overload level setting.

What to do if Eaton Evolution 1550 UPS button and LED are ON and all bargraph LEDs are flashing?
    • M
      martinamberAug 23, 2025
If the button and LED are ON and all the LEDs on the bargraph are flashing on your Eaton UPS, a critical overload has occurred on the UPS output. If AC input power fails, the load will not be supplied in battery mode. Check the power drawn by the connected devices and disconnect any non-priority devices.

How to fix Eaton Evolution 1550 when all LEDs go ON and then only one LED remains ON?
    • P
      peter29Aug 31, 2025
If, when starting your Eaton UPS, all the LEDs briefly turn ON, the buzzer beeps, and then only one LED remains ON, the remote power off (RPO) contact has been activated, preventing restart. To fix this, set the contact back to its normal position and press the button to restart.

What to do if Eaton UPS shows critical overload?
    • J
      Jason BrewerSep 4, 2025
If the Eaton UPS experiences a critical overload, indicated by Button (10) and LED (15) being ON with all LEDs on bargraph (8) flashing, it means the UPS output is critically overloaded. In this situation, AC input power failure will result in the load not being supplied in battery mode. To resolve this, check the power consumption of connected devices and disconnect any non-priority devices to reduce the load.
  • R
    Robert GonzalezSep 7, 2025
Why does Eaton Evolution 1550 LED r (14) stay on?
    • R
      Rachel CainSep 8, 2025
When starting the Eaton UPS using button T (10), if all the LEDs illuminate briefly, the buzzer beeps once, and then LED r (14) remains lit, it signifies that the remote power off (RPO) contact has been activated, shutting down the UPS and preventing restart. To resolve this, revert the contact to its normal position and then press button (24) to initiate a restart.
