How to Replace Internal Batteries
CAUTION
Pull the battery out onto a flat, stable surface. The battery is unsupported when you pull it
out of the UPS.
To replace the UPS internal batteries:
1. Remove the UPS front cover (see Figure 29).
NOTE DO NOT attempt to open the left side.

2. Unscrew and set aside the battery retaining bracket (see Figure 30).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the UPS battery connector and
remove the battery cable from the wire clips.
