6.6 Opening
The opening operation is accomplished by either
manually pushing the “open” button or connecting the
external power supply to actuate the shunt opening
release coil. The breaker uses a hydraulic damper to
help absorb some of the opening force. Once the
breaker is open, the indicator will display “OPEN”.
6.7 Control Schemes
Refer to Fig. 6-10 for the W-VACi circuit breaker
diagram.
6.8 Selective Parts Configuration
The voltages for the secondary control circuit can be:
24-48-60-110-125-220-250 VDC and 120-220-230
VAC.
Configurations and electrical parameters for selective
parts are presented in the next few sections.
