Too compacted or nely ground coee (looks like a powder and resembles smooth our when rubbed
between the ngers) will prevent water from owing through the coee, even under pressure. The resulting
coee will be dark and bitter.
On the other hand, the result of a coarsely ground or under-tamped coee will be a sour, odorless coee.
You can tamp coarse coee with more force, tamp more gently the ne ground coee.
When choosing ground coee, pay attention to the information on the packaging. It is stated here usually for
which type of coee machines the coee is intended. Choose one that has the ESPRESSO type designation - for
example, "ESPRESSO MACINATO", the lever coee machine symbol or the information that it is suitable for all
types of coee machines. Coee grinders usually have the option of setting the grinding coarseness and the
coarseness for "ESPRESSO" coee is marked. Even so, make sure that the coee has coarseness similar to the
structure of table salt.

Note:
Do not use alcohol or an abrasive to clean. Never immerse the body of the appliance in water or any
other liquid.
3. Remove the lever with metal cup by turning it clockwise, empty out the coee grounds. You can then clean
these parts with detergent and nally rinse them with clean water.
