• Turn adjusting screw (D) counterclockwise to increase oil volume,
clockwise to decrease oil volume.
• Do not turn the adjusting screw beyond the maximum or minimum limit of
volume adjustment.
Oil Filter
• Check periodically.
• Do not allow dust to enter into oil
tank.
• Clogged oil strainer will affect the
normal lubricating system.
1. Remove grommet, pull strainer
out through oil port and inspect
strainer.
2. If the strainer is dirty, clean with suitable cleaning fluid.
3. If the inside of the oil tank is dirty, rinse with suitable cleaning fluid.
4. Install strainer into lower front of oil tank to ensure proper chain
lubrication.
Guide Bar
1. Clean before using.
2. Clean the groove (A) of the
guide bar with a small
screwdriver.
3. Clean oil holes (B) with a wire.
4. Invert guide bar periodically.
5. Clean the bar mount area
before installing of the bar.
