What to do if my Echo Trimmer engine cranks but won't start?

If your Echo Trimmer's engine cranks but struggles to start, or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. Begin by opening the choke if the fuel mixture is too rich. Ensure the switch is in the ON position if there's no spark. A clogged fuel strainer or fuel line can also be the culprit; in this case, clean or replace them. Adjust the spark gap to .65mm (0.026 in.) if it's incorrect. Clean or replace the spark plug if it is covered with carbon or fouled with fuel. Finally, replace the plug if it's defective.
