5.2.2.6 (28) “SVCE“-window
The service window is only accessible with the service jumper in place. It is
activated by pressing the “YES“ key in MEAS mode. “SVCE“ appears in
the upper right hand corner of the display. This function enables the user
to check that the analog output and the keypad are functioning correctly.
Also in the rare case that it is necessary to perform a total reset of the
analyzer to factory default values, this can be accomplished from this
window.
1. “Recorder“: To check that the analog output is functioning correctly,
two options are available:
– “off“: Zero-point test; sets analog outputs to 0 V or 0 mA
– “max“: Full scale test; sets analog outputs to full scale i.e. 1 V, 10 V
or 20 mA depending on setting selected in window (4) under
“Mode“.
2. “Key Test“: To check functioning of keypad and display After pressing
the “YES“ key each pixel of on the display should illuminate.
