What to do if the Ecosoft PINK system will not regenerate?
    • S
      Sarah SullivanAug 14, 2025
If the Ecosoft Water Dispenser system won't regenerate, first check the power supply to ensure it's working. Then, check the amount of salt in the brine tank and add salt if needed. Finally, check the control valve and its settings, consulting the control valve manual for guidance.

Why is the service flow capacity of my Ecosoft PINK Water Dispenser decreased?
    • D
      David BatesAug 18, 2025
A decreased service flow capacity in your Ecosoft Water Dispenser may be due to several reasons. It could be caused by decreased supply water pressure, in which case you should increase the supply water pressure. Alternatively, the drain line or control valve might be clogged, requiring you to clean the drain line or inspect and clean the control valve. If your system uses an NHWBP/MAV, its failure could also be the cause, so inspect and repair the motorized valve.

What to do if the brine will not draw during regeneration or not all brine will draw in Ecosoft Water Dispenser?
    • S
      sgriffithAug 21, 2025
If brine isn't drawing during regeneration or not all brine draws in your Ecosoft Water Dispenser, check the supply water pressure. Also, the injector or brine tube could be clogged, so clean the brine injector and/or brine tube. Check the airtightness of the drain line, because air might be injected due to the brine line not being airtight. Finally, consider increasing the brine stage duration if the control valve settings have changed.

What to do if the Ecosoft Water Dispenser brine tank is not refilled or refilled with less water than needed?
    • T
      Tiffany DrakeAug 27, 2025
If the brine tank in your Ecosoft Water Dispenser isn't refilling or isn't refilling enough, start by checking the supply water pressure. Also, the injector or brine tube might be clogged, so clean the brine injector and/or brine tube. Lastly, check the duration of brine tank refill in the control valve settings and correct if necessary.

What causes an Ecosoft PINK Water Dispenser filter bed to be clogged?
    • M
      Michael MillerAug 30, 2025
A clogged filter bed in your Ecosoft Water Dispenser can result from an insufficient backwash flow rate (check the backwash flow rate and inspect/clean the drain line flow control or replace it if needed), an insufficient backwash stage (increase the duration of the backwash stage), or a clogged top distributor (clean the top distributor). Additionally, an excessive backwash flow rate could be the cause (measure the backwash flow rate and consider changing the drain line flow control).

What causes filter media entrainment in the Ecosoft Water Dispenser?
    • M
      Melanie DeckerSep 3, 2025
Filter media entrainment in your Ecosoft Water Dispenser can occur if the filter media is entrained and discharged during backwash (replace the top distributor if needed) or during service (replace the bottom distributor if needed).

Why is the Ecosoft PINK brine tank refilled with excess water?
    • R
      Rodney GutierrezSep 6, 2025
If the brine tank in your Ecosoft Water Dispenser is refilled with excess water, it could be due to high main water pressure. Check the water pressure and install a pressure regulator if needed.

Why is there excess use of salt per regeneration in my Ecosoft PINK Water Dispenser?
    • P
      Pamela ThompsonSep 9, 2025
Excessive salt use per regeneration in your Ecosoft Water Dispenser is likely due to changes in the control valve settings. Decrease the amount of salt per regeneration in the control valve settings.

Why is the quality of treated water from my Ecosoft PINK decreased?
    • M
      Mr. Andrew RichardNov 23, 2025
A decrease in the quality of treated water from your Ecosoft Water Dispenser can stem from several issues: a faulty chemical analysis of the water (perform another test with freshly prepared reagents), changes in the supply water chemistry (make a new check analysis and contact your dealer if it has changed), or the bypass valve being set to bypass (turn it to the operating position). Other potential causes include damaged riser pipe or seals (inspect and replace or lubricate if necessary), leakage of raw water inside the control valve (inspect, replace, or lubricate the seals), a clogged filter bed, filter media loss, or improper filter regeneration. Please refer to paragraph 3 for the clogged filter bed, paragraph 4 for the filter media loss and paragraph 6 for the improper filter regene...
