Installing the Grated Adapter
1. Insert the round grated adapter through the back grooved side of the window kit plate and into
the hole.
Note: This unit can be used with one or two vent hoses. The exhaust hose should always be
used in cooling and heating (HS model) mode. The air intake hose can be used to increase the
cooling efficiency of the unit. If the air intake hose is not used, simply cover one of the grated
adapters on the window kit with a vent cap.
