3.1.2 Electrical connection
The brisket saw is operated by electricity and must
be connected according to the VDE regulations
(German Association for Electrical, Electronic &
Information Technologies) and the local public
utility companies by a licensed electrician.
Manually operated electrical machines must be
equipped with a safety adapter (Fig. safety adapter
30 mA) (order no. 001 603 511). Machines with low
voltage are excluded.

3.3 Working with the brisket saw
3.3.1 Operation
Before using, check the operational data of the
power network and the machine for compatibility.
Perform a functional test before beginning work.
Optionally cold/warm water can be turned on during
the sawing process. Activate the manual switch (32)
for this. A magnetic valve can be installed instead of
the manual switch (32) (special model).
Hold both handles of the brisket saw securely
and switch on
Guide the saw into the animal carcass while
running
Kickbacks can occur when hitting bones
Remove the saw from the tier carcass only when
it is running and then switch it off
Also refer to Sec. 3.2.
3.3.2 Operational safety
Hold machine securely with both handles, never
work with only one hand
Do not hold the saw by the switch, it may be
started accidentally
Be especially cautious when handling in the
switched-on condition
Do not slant the sawblade or allow it to be
jammed
Safety devices on the saw must not be
removed.
After switching off it takes the sawblade approx.
3 s to stop. Only then let go of the handles
For safe handling (guide), the brisket saw must
be hung on a spring balancer.
Never reach into the running
sawblade. Otherwise extremities
could be cut off!
When working wear eye
protection or safety glasses!
