ASSEMBLING THE THREAD STAND
The overlock comes with the thread guide stand in the lowest position.
Raise the thread guide stand to the highest position. Then adjust the posi-
tion of the thread guide.
THREAD SPOOL CONSERVERS
THREAD SPOOL NET
The conserver is used to x the thread spool on the
overlock rod.
1. Thread spool conserver.
Loosely wound polyester or nylon threads will loosen
when they come off the spool. To maintain a constant
feed rate of such threads, put a net over the spool.

GATHERING FABRIC
The differential feed mechanism makes it easier to gather lightweight fab-
rics. Use it to sew waist seams, seam sleeves, hem sleeves and cuffs, etc.
For best results when gathering fabrics, set the differential feed control
between the 1.5 and 2 marks.
