Enable 802.1x Authentication
Off, On
Select this option to allow the Fiery Controller to seek authentication from an 802.1x
authentication server.
EAP Type
PEAP-MSCHAPv2, MD5-Challenge
Choose the type of EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol).
User name
Used by the Fiery Controller to request authentication from an 802.1x authentication server.
Password
Used by the Fiery Controller to request authentication from an 802.1x authentication server.
Validate Server Certificate
Off, On
Select this option if you chose PEAP-MSCHAPv2 as the EAP type and want the Fiery
Controller to use a trusted root certificate when communicating with the authentication
server.
If you want the Fiery Controller to validate the server certificate, place the certificate in the list
of trusted certificates of the Fiery Controller. For more information, see Configure Help.

On the printer touch panel, you can access and configure many Fiery Controller features
and options from the following tabs:
• Jobs (see page 28)
• Info (see page 28)
• Tools (see page 29)
• Calibrate (see page 29)
Note that many of the options located on these tabs can also be accessed through
Command WorkStation.

1 Press Service Home and then the Fiery icon.
2 Select a tab.
