  If your Ego Power+ Trimmer isn't working, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the battery pack is properly attached. If it is, remove the battery, check the contacts, and reinstall it to ensure a good electrical connection. The battery pack may also be depleted and require charging. If the battery pack or the trimmer is too hot, remove the battery and allow them to cool down. Also, make sure that you press the lock-off button first and then press the front and rear triggers simultaneously. Finally, check if the blade is jammed; if so, remove the battery, carefully clear the obstruction, and restart the tool.

Follow the instructions in the “LUBRICATING THE BLADE” section of this manual. Also, check for loose blade bolts and tighten them using an adjustable wrench and a 4mm hex wrench, turning clockwise. Other potential causes include bent blades, blade support, or damaged teeth, which would necessitate replacement.
