If the cutting line on your Ego Power+ Trimmer can’t be released, consider these possibilities: * The motor shaft or trimmer head might be wound with grass. Stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and clear the grass. * The trimmer head might be dirty. Remove the battery and clean the lower cover assembly, spool, and upper cover. * The line is tangled in the trimmer head. Remove the battery, remove the line from the spool, and rewind it. * The line is too short. Remove the battery and pull the lines while alternately pressing down on and releasing the trimmer head.
