  If the cutting line on your Ego Power+ Trimmer can’t be released, consider these possibilities: * The motor shaft or trimmer head might be wound with grass. Stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and clear the grass. * The trimmer head might be dirty. Remove the battery and clean the lower cover assembly, spool, and upper cover. * The line is tangled in the trimmer head. Remove the battery, remove the line from the spool, and rewind it. * The line is too short. Remove the battery and pull the lines while alternately pressing down on and releasing the trimmer head.

  Your Ego Power+ Trimmer might stop working for several reasons: * The guard might not be mounted, leading to an overly long cutting line and motor overload. To fix this, unplug the battery connector and mount the guard. * A heavy cutting line is used. Use recommended nylon cutting line with a diameter no greater than 3.0mm. * The motor shaft or trimmer head is wound with grass. Stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and clear the grass. * The motor is overloaded. The machine will recover when the load is reduced. For continuous use, decrease the load. * The battery pack or line trimmer is too hot. Allow them to cool down below 67°C. * The battery pack connector is disconnected. Re-plug it in. * The battery pack is depleted. Charge the battery pack.
