Remove the battery and clean the lower cover assembly, spool, and upper cover. * The line is tangled in the trimmer head. Remove the battery, remove the line from the spool, and rewind it. * The line is too short. Remove the battery and pull the lines while alternately pressing down on and releasing the trimmer head.

Use recommended nylon cutting line with a diameter no greater than 3.0mm. * The motor shaft or trimmer head is wound with grass. Stop the trimmer, remove the battery, and clear the grass. * The motor is overloaded. The machine will recover when the load is reduced.
