TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
CAUSE SOLUTION SOLUTION
Fail to start.
The battery pack is not attached to the
brush cutter.
Attach the battery pack to the power
head.
No electrical contact between the brush
cutter and the battery pack.
Remove battery, check contacts
and reinstall the battery pack until it
snaps into place.
The battery pack is depleted. Charge the battery pack with EGO
chargers listed in this manual.
The lock-off lever and trigger are not
depressed simultaneously.
Press down the lock-off lever and
hold it, then depress the trigger to
turn on the brush cutter.
Stop working.
The motor is overloaded. The motor will recover when the
load is removed. For continuous
working, decrease the load on the
power head.
Heavy cutting line is used. Use standard nylon cutting line with
diameter no more than 2.4mm.
The battery pack or the brush cutter is too
hot.
Allow the battery pack or the power
head to cool until the temperature
drops below 67°C.
The battery pack is disconnected from the
tool.
Re-install the battery pack.
The battery pack is depleted. Charge the battery pack with EGO
chargers listed in this manual.
