NOTE: One 13/16 in (21mm) wrench and one 23/32 in (18mm)
wrench are required to level the cutting deck. The wrenches are not
included. One mower deck leveling gauge is required and should be
purchased separately.
To Make Side-to-Side Adjustment (Fig. 29 - 31)
1. Carefully rotate the three blades so that they are all positioned
side-to-side shown in Fig. 29.
2. At the outside cutting edge of the left and right blade, measure
the distance from the tip of the blade to the ground. If the
distance between the two sides is greater than 19/64 in
(7.5mm), side-to-side adjustment is necessary.
3. If side-to-side adjustment is needed, use a 13/16 in (21mm)
open end wrench (not supplied) to adjust the one jam nut on
the back of the mower.
4. Measure again. Continue to adjust and measure until the
difference between the distances on both sides is within
19/64 in (7.5mm).
5. Proceed to front-to-back adjustment or retighten the nuts.
NOTICE: In case the jam nut on the back is removed from the
tool accidently, remount it with the shoulder of the jam nut facing
outward. No requirement for the two nuts on the suspension
linkage.
